⚽ SAN DIEGO - San Diego Wave FC set a new club record with a dominant 5-2 victory over North Carolina Courage, powered by Adriana Leon’s brace* and goals from Perle Morroni, Kristen McNabb, and María Sánchez. The win marked San Diego’s second straight and extended their unbeaten streak to a club-best six matches. Their 21 goals are the second most (to KC Current’s 22) in the National Women’s Soccer League.

🏐 San Diego Mojo Professional Women’s Volleyball

🏐 DENVER, Colo. - San Diego Mojo head coach and three-time Olympian Tayyiba Haneef-Park was inducted into the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame, receiving the All-Time Great Athlete Award alongside five other legends of the sport. Celebrated for her decorated playing career and recent coaching achievements, Haneef-Park was honored during the 2025 Hall of Fame banquet in Denver.

🏃♀️ Indianapolis, Ind. - Five UC San Diego scholar-athletes qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field West First Round, marking the program’s first postseason eligibility since moving to Division I. Headlined by school record-holders and All-Big West honorees, the Tritons will compete May 28–31 at Texas A&M for a chance to advance to Nationals in Oregon. Read more here.

🏃♀️Indianapolis, Ind. -Ten San Diego State athletes qualified for the NCAA Track & Field First Round, earning spots by ranking among the top 48 in the West Region. Standouts include Shaquena Foote (ranked 8th in the west region in the 400m) and Jada Pierre (qualified in both the 100m and 100m hurdles), with competition set for May 29 and 31 in Texas.
